The helpful services provided by Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have driven the development of local enterprises.

Sifang Cereals and Oil Co in the Baiyun Economic Development Zone is a beneficiary of the services.

At the beginning of this year, the company began working to complete the license procedures required for the expansion of food processing production lines.

However, as the application procedures were complex and involved multiple departments, the production expansion plans were delayed.

While learning about the problems faced by the company, staff members of the Baiyun Economic Development Zone and the Baiyun bureau of industry and information technology quickly began working to help the company.

Due to the services, the company is currently debugging the 12 oil presses on its second-phase production line as it seeks to expand production capacity.

According to Yang Hailiang, the person in charge of the company's production workshop, the two 1,000--metric-ton grain storage tanks have been completed and the oil press equipment has been installed.

The expanded production line is scheduled to be officially put into operation in mid-December.

The company set up operation in Baiyun district in 2012. Its products mainly include edible vegetable oils such as pressed rapeseed oil and soybean oil.

At present, the company has six fully-automatic and semi-automatic filling production lines, with a daily production capacity of 400 tons of oil products and a storage capacity of nearly 20,000 tons of refined oil products.

From annual sales revenue of 196 million yuan ($27.96 million) in 2012 to 1.5 billion yuan in 2021, the output value of the company has been rising year after year, and it has become a leading enterprise in the ecological food characteristic industry in Baiyun district.
