Baiyun invests 1 billion yuan on industrial projects

The project commencement ceremony for the healthcare products project of Guizhou Hongshanhu Pharmaceutical Co Ltd was held on Dec 14 in Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital of southwestern Guizhou province, officials said.

Hongshanhu drug company's project is one of a batch of the projects that started in Guiyang this year.

With a total of 1.02 billion yuan ($145.5 million), three projects have been started in Baiyun district, an effort to expand its industrial investment and promote economic and social development.

A total of 19.8 billion yuan has been invested in 25 projects, involving new industries such as equipment manufacturing, new materials, the digital industry as well as health and medicine.

Song Xusheng, Party secretary of the Baiyun district committee and Bu Lan, district governor, attended the ceremony.
