Baiyun offers 657.49m yuan in tax cuts in first eight months of 2020

Baiyun district in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has implemented favorable tax deduction policies for businesses.

According to the local finance bureau, the change reduced the tax and fee burden of enterprises by 657.49 million yuan ($96.39 million) in the first eight months of 2020, up 78.6 percent year-on-year.

Baiyun also keeps in constant communication with enterprises to ensure quality service, and is closely monitoring fee and tax details.

Baiyun has also strengthened efforts to attract investment, supported by subsidies of 126.75 million yuan.

The district spent a total of 9.88 million yuan to promote the resumption of work in the wake of the novel coronavirus epidemic.

These measures have helped to optimize the business environment in Baiyun district.
