Full 5G network coverage arrives in Baiyun

Full 5G network coverage in Baiyun district of Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been achieved, according to an official report released on Nov 13.

China Mobile Communications Group Co's Baiyun branch has completed the construction and testing of 407 base stations covering all towns, main scenic spots and main roads in Baiyun.

The average internet download speed in Baiyun can achieve at least 660 megabytes per second, while its upload speed is at least 57 Mbps.

The mobile 5G network features high speeds, limited delays, robust safety features and extensive coverage, helping it to enjoy wide popularity in the fields of high-quality videos, remote medical treatment, intelligent logistics and intelligent manufacturing.

In the future, the Baiyun branch will fully utilize the 5G network to advance the development of industry, commerce, people's livelihoods and the construction of a smart city.
