A fire fighting theme park has recently opened to the public in Baiyun district of Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, according to information from the district's fire and rescue brigade on Feb 18.
Integrating science popularization, interactive games and fire prevention education, the park aims to enhance fire protection knowledge and awareness among the public.
The theme park, which is located in Quanhu Park, took builders two months to finish. Elements such as aluminum, kites and clouds – all culturally connected to Baiyun district – are showcased in the attraction's design.
A fire equipment display area is included in the attraction to teach the public about the tools used in fire prevention and fighting. There is also a fun interactive area for children at the theme park.
There are also fire fighting experience areas, including fire fighting cultural corridors, fire fighting mobile classrooms, fire chimes and fire fighting chairs, allowing people to learn about fire prevention and disaster preparedness while visiting the park.
