Baiyun to boast 80 high-tech companies by year-end

In Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Baiyun district is seeking high-quality economic and social development. According to local media reports, it expects to boast 80 high-tech companies by the end of this year.

It will cultivate technology-based enterprises by supporting the Guiyang digital content industrial park and the Guiyang software base to boost national high-tech enterprises and provincial-level scientific and technological projects.

The district will accelerate the establishment of several novel incubators. By the end of this year, the district anticipates being home to 80 high-tech companies, 15 technology service companies above the designated size, and more than 200 technology-based companies in the incubation phase.

Relying on the Guizhou University of Commerce and other colleges in the district, Baiyun will establish a district-level campus cooperation demonstration base. It will also accelerate the transfer of sci-tech projects.

This year, the district strives to complete achievement transformation for more than 10 scientific and technological projects and enhance its scientific and technological progress index to be among the best in the province.

Also, the district will continue to attract talents and offer them a better business environment.
