Guiyang's Baiyuan district holds recruitment fair

The 2021 spring talent recruitment fair was held on March 15 in Baiyun district of Guiyang -- capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- in its Industrial Maker Town.

A total of 74 companies participated in the fair, offering more than 10,000 job positions in finance and other sectors, as well as positions for hardware engineers and computer R&D engineers, among others.

About 600 people applied for jobs and 180 were successful.

An entrepreneurship and employment policy consultation area was also set up at the event to provide job seekers and recruiting companies with consulting services in such areas as employment and entrepreneurship support policies, vocational skills training, labor security and arbitration.

Baiyun district's Industrial Maker Town is one of the first batch of talent towns in the district. It is a place for people to live and work, with complete support facilities, beautiful environment and spaces allocated for smart innovation and entrepreneurship.

It is a comprehensive service platform to provide information exchanges, entrepreneurial activities, product displays, training and education -- as well as resource sharing for businesses, groups, individuals and other social circles in the district.
