Pilot work on the application of electronic labor contracts was launched on May 9 in Baiyun district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, for projects under construction in the district, according to information from its human resources and social security bureau.

Until now, eight construction projects have participated in the work, and approximately 200 electronic labor contracts have been signed. Most construction sites spoke highly of the initiative.

According to provincial requirements, Baiyun district promoted the initiative and guided enterprises and workers to sign electronic labor contracts, which will bring much convenience to them.

During the pilot period, the standardized management of the entire process – such as electronic signing and data transmission paths – will be strengthened to ensure that contracts are signed in a legal and effective manner and properly managed.

Baiyun district's next step is to promote the initiative and explore intelligent ways of labor relationship management to further optimize the district's business environment.
