Guiyang's Baiyun district holds forum on education, data

A forum on new ecological education and data integration was held at No 15 Primary School in the Baiyun district of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 27.

Nearly 200 people participated in the event. They included representatives from education departments in cities and prefectures across the province and school principals.

Part of the "China Smart Education Development Forum and Smart Education Achievement Exhibition" series of activities, the forum was hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, to explore the integrated development of education and data in the province.

The forum was also livestreamed to the education sector in Guizhou province.

Officials from the provincial education department gave keynote speeches on the goals, paths and methods of the new ecology of smart education. They highlighted the role of data in smart education.

During roundtable talks, experts had discussions on the integration of smart education and education data. The participants included representatives from Beijing Normal University, the University of Science and Technology of China and the Ministry of Education.
