Guizhou's first senior fitness, sports center opens in Baiyun

A sports and fitness center targeting senior citizens was opened recently in the Baiyun district of Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The center is located in Baiyun's Caoguan Wetland Park and is the first of its kind in Guizhou province.

It comes equipped with a variety of intelligent and professional sports rehabilitation equipment, suitable for seniors.

The center can provide a wide range of services, according to operation director Zheng Xiaobin.

These include physical fitness testing, basic health tests, scientific fitness guidance, exercise intervention for chronic diseases, sports rehabilitation training, popularization of health knowledge, leisure activities, entertainment and social services. 

In addition, the center establishes a sports and health file for each participant, to provide more scientific guidance.
