Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has successfully completed the installation and testing of fair metering devices at 24 gas stations in its jurisdiction.
All of the gas stations have been formally brought under platform supervision.
Installation of the fair metering devices is meant to ensure that gas stations in its jurisdiction meet national measurement standards, further reduce consumption disputes, and protect the rights and interests of consumers.

The establishment of a fair metering device can transmit the operating status of oil tankers to the back-end system of the platform in real time, so that the market supervision department can monitor tankers as they refuel, so as to realize 24-hour supervision and early warning supervision of oil tankers.
The device can also send prompts and early warnings if gas stations change their tanker motherboards or install cheating devices, so that gas stations attempting to cheat can be dealt with in a timely manner.
