Baiyun firefighters win 'Most Beautiful Worker' title

Two people from Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, obtained the honorable title of "Most Beautiful Worker".

The honor was jointly granted by the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Guizhou Human Resources and Social Security Department, the Communist Youth League of China Guizhou Provincial Committee, and the Guizhou Provincial Women's Federation.

The honorable title winners from Baiyun district are Zuo Lanfang and Jin Xin, both from the Baiyun District Fire Rescue Team.

Zuo Lanfang is a second-level commander of the fire rescue team and joined the team in 2003.

As a fire-fighting supervisor, Zuo insists on conducting daily supervision and inspections to urge the rectification of hidden fire hazards.

Over the years, in supervision and law enforcement work, she has actively provided guidance and services to enterprises, helped enterprises rectify hidden dangers, and taught employees and people in the jurisdiction how to respond to fires. 

The other winner, Jin Xin, is working for the Tongxin Road Fire Station affiliated with the Baiyun District Fire Rescue Team.

Since Jin joined the firefighting team in 2017, he has always made the improvement of his own professionalism his priority, and strives to adapt to the requirements of the comprehensive fire rescue situation. 

In many fire station opening activities, he has disseminated fire safety knowledge to school students and the public, and made outstanding contributions to enhancing the happiness and security of people in the jurisdiction.
