The Baiyun district of Guiyang -- the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- held an activity on Dec 3 at its Dulaying sub-district to mark the International Day of Disabled Persons.
It was sponsored by the Baiyun Disabled Persons' Federation.
The event promoted and interpreted the policies issued by the State to protect the employment and cultural rights of persons with disabilities.

It did this through cultural performances, free foot massages and the distribution of gifts, sending out real care and greetings to persons with disabilities.
More than 70 residents participated in the event, aiming to create a more equal social status and equal job opportunities for persons with disabilities.
