During the seven-day Spring Festival holiday from Jan 31 to Feb 6, 17 industrial enterprises above a designated size in Baiyun district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, continued with production.
They are reported to have achieved a production value of 178.54 million yuan and an added value of 31.55 million yuan in total, laying a solid foundation for industrial economic development in the first quarter of the new year.
Ten of the industrial enterprises in Baiyun continued production for at least three days straight during the holiday, with their production value and added value reaching 173.24 million yuan and 30.29 million yuan, respectively.

To help these enterprises, Baiyun district offered a one-time reward of 30,000 yuan to each enterprise above a designated size in its jurisdiction, on the condition that their daily electricity consumption during the Spring Festival holiday reached more than 50 percent of the average daily electricity consumption in December 2021, and they continued production for more than two days in a row.
Baiyun also made every effort to ensure the supply of water, electricity, industry, gas, and information to the enterprises.
Moving forward, Baiyun will continue to provide services for enterprises to help them start or resume production.
