As of Feb 8, 69 for-profit service enterprises above designated size in Baiyun district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had resumed work, with a resumption rate of 82.1 percent.
All enterprises in this category in Baiyun are expected to resume work before Feb 15.
Before the Spring Festival holiday, which ran from Jan 31 to Feb 6, Baiyun officials had visited 2,321 enterprises in its jurisdiction to learn about their post-holiday work resumption plans.
The enterprises are engaged in internet, transportation, technical services, property management, leasing, real estate, education and training, vehicle maintenance, culture and entertainment.
When the holiday ended, Baiyun authorities paid on-site visits to 84 local enterprises to learn about work resumption and operating conditions in the first quarter of the year, and asked what they needed.
Baiyun will provide targeted services according to the investigation results.
