Job fair helps Baiyun folks to get employed

A job fair held on Feb 11 in the Baiyun district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – met with some real success in its bid to help local residents find work.

At the event, around 150 businesses offered a total of 3,468 positions, involving mechanical maintenance, childcare, hardware engineering, office clerks roles and other categories.

On the day, the job fair is estimated to have attracted around 2,000 job seekers, with about 500 people reaching preliminary employment agreements onsite.
