In recent years, Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been continuing to use technology to boost rural revitalization.
A series of policies involving the commercialization of scientific research results and poverty alleviation based on industrial development have been adopted.
To date, Baiyun has provided funds worth around 1.50 million yuan for three townships and sub-districts rated as technology innovation sites at the district level, and provided subsidies for four projects for the commercialization of scientific research achievements in agricultural fields.
Baiyun also plans to provide 150,000 yuan to help Shilong village build itself into an innovation demonstration village.
