Five-tier talent housing guarantee system takes shape in Baiyun

Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has built a five-tier talent housing guarantee system to attract highly skilled workers.

The system comprises of Jiangtianxia Talent Town, senior talent apartments, youth talent apartments, talent rental houses and staff dormitories.

High-level talent, college graduates and enterprise staff can benefit from the system in the form of discounted house purchases, short or long-term discounted housing rent, and living in government-provided housing for free.

So far, 61 sets of talent apartments in Baiyun have been rented out for free, 617 sets of youth talent apartments have been rented out at a discount, and rental subsidies at 462,000 yuan have been given out for talent.

Meanwhile, a total of five affordable rental housing projects are currently under construction in Baiyun, and another eight will be constructed in the near future.

The Binguo Youth Talent Community on Yunbo Road in Baiyun district is a successful example of providing high-quality talent housing solutions.

The housing is funded and constructed by Yuncheng Commercial Investment Management Co, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baiyun Chengfa Group.

The total project area is about 65,000 square meters and was put into use in 2019. The community includes five residential buildings and 1,020 sets of houses.

Each set of houses is about 50 to 60 square meters in size, well-furnished with home appliances, and has full WiFi coverage. Free property services are also being provided.

According to Zou Qiang, the relevant person in charge of the Yuncheng Business Management Company of Baiyun Chengfa Group, the community is also equipped with a leisure activity center, a comprehensive sports ground, and convenient living and transportation facilities.
