Big data technology has been widely applied in Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to ensure flood control during flood season.
Data front-end sensing equipment has been installed in the drainage pipe network under Baiyun's jurisdiction and connected to the smart Baiyun pipe network system to realize the real-time data dynamic monitoring of accumulated water.
To date, eight sets of water accumulation monitoring equipment, 10 sets of municipal well cover safety monitoring equipment, and one set of pipeline flow monitoring front-end sensing equipment have been completed in Baiyun's urban flood-prone areas.
The intelligent monitoring and professional analysis of data further promote the overall function of the urban drainage system and ensure the safety and proper functioning of urban drainage.
