Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has strong great efforts to treat rural domestic sewage and build infrastructure.
As of June 24, a total of 47 rural sewage treatment stations had been built and put into operation in Baiyun district, with a cumulative domestic sewage treatment scale of 2,140 metric tons per day.
All villages in the jurisdiction of Baiyun district have access to domestic sewage treatment facilities.
In addition, rural sewage treatment stations with a daily processing capacity of more than 20 tons are inspected every six months, and those with a daily treatment capacity of 10 to 20 tons are inspected annually.
