Baiyun district adds one more industrial park

The smart manufacturing industrial park of Nanjing Kangni Mechanical & Electrical Co was put into use in Baiyun district of Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 5.

It is one of the district's key 2021 investment projects and involves an investment of 100 million yuan ($14.75 million). It includes 2,500 square meters of standard workshops and is mainly used to manufacture transport vehicles' doors, intelligent wheel chairs and other smart transportation equipment.

Overcoming downward pressure on the economy and the adverse effects of the pandemic, the Baiyun district government has formed a special team to ensure the early construction and operation of the project. Under the support of the municipal and district governments, the industrial park has received many orders.

Baiyun district has been committed to the provincial campaign of building a stronger provincial capital. There are 24 key industrial projects for this year, with seven of them already operating.
