Baiyun opens seven schools in 2022

In 2022, a total of seven schools in Baiyun district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province were opened to students.

These schools were newly built, expanded or renovated, in a bid to balance local education resources and bring convenience for children within the area.

The Mayan branch of the No 3 Baiyun District Kindergarten

The Mayan branch of the No 3 Baiyun District Kindergarten is a public kindergarten under the Baiyun district education bureau. It is located in Mayan village, Maijia town. It covers an area of 415.21 square meters and officially began to recruit new students in September 2022.

The No 33 Baiyun District Kindergarten

The No 33 Baiyun District Kindergarten is affiliated to the No 1 Baiyun Preschool Education Group, and also started to recruit new students in September 2022.

It is located at No 66 Nanhu Road and covers an area of about 4,000 sq m. It is designed to hold nine classes.

The No 32 Baiyun District Kindergarten

The No 32 Baiyun District Kindergarten is located at No 238 Kewen Road. It is a public kindergarten that is scheduled to open and begin classes in 2022. The building area of this kindergarten is 2,419 sq m and will soon open six classes.

The No 35 Baiyun District Kindergarten

The No 35 Baiyun District Kindergarten is located at the intersection of Shubo Avenue and West Gaochuan Road in Baiyun National High-tech Zone. The kindergarten covers 4,220 sq m and is equipped to handle 12 classes. Each class has its own supporting facilities.

The No 29 Baiyun District Kindergarten

The No 29 Baiyun District Kindergarten is a public kindergarten operating directly under the Baiyun district education bureau. It is also an experimental kindergarten built by Guiyang Preschool Teachers College, which has more than 30 years of preschool education experience.

The kindergarten covers an area of 6,700 sq m and was officially opened in September 2022.

The No 18 Baiyun Primary School

The No 18 Baiyun Primary School finished construction and opened to new students in August 2022. It is located in Guiyang Science and Technology Talent Town and covers an area of about 39,566 sq m. It's a safe and comfortable campus with 36 classes.

Caoguan Primary School

Caoguan Primary School is located in Caoguan village, Yanshanhong Town. Renovation and expansion of the school were completed in 2022.

The current school building area is 2,127 sq m, but the entire school covers an area of 3,310 sq m.

At present, the school has 467 students and 25 teachers.
