Lantern festival brings festive atmosphere to Baiyun

To create an inviting New Year's ambiance and celebrate the approaching Spring Festival, Baiyun is holding its first lantern art festival.

The host site is located in Moli Town in Baiyun district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

More than 10 themed areas have been set up, including a Spring Festival lantern area, aerospace-themed lighting area, planetary museum area, time tunnel area, and light and shadow forest area.

During the lantern festival, a series of exciting performances featuring ethnic folk customs will also be on show.

The festival organizer said that the event will last until Feb 6, 2023.
