Baiyun begins rapid construction of polymer-modified material project

A high-performance polymer-modified material production line is currently under rapid construction in Baiyun district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The project is located in the Baiyun Economic Development Zone and is designed to have a production capacity of 5 metric tons of high-performance polymer-modified materials per year.

Guizhou Kaiket Material Co, an enterprise which is committed to the research, development and production of polymer-modified materials, invested in this production line. Guizhou Kaiket Material Co currently provides polymer-modified materials to the automobile industry, electrical industry, and military enterprises.

Li Li, the superintendent of the construction of the project, said "At present, the project is progressing very smoothly. The construction of the main structures, such as the R&D center, the office building and production rooms has been completed.”

The project is expected to complete construction and be operational by April 2023.

The project covers an area of 46 mu (3.07 hectares), and has a total investment value of 49 million yuan. The end results of this project include production plants, research and development centers, office buildings, staff dormitory buildings, water pump rooms and machine repair rooms.

After being put into operation, the project will help to boost Baiyun's new industrialization development.
