Twelve projects were signed during the 2025 First-quarter Major Industry Investment Signing Event, hosted by Baiyun district in Guiyang on March 11.

The projects include one primary, five secondary, and six tertiary industry projects, spanning modern agriculture, new energy, cultural tourism, and urban development, with a total investment of 5.04 billion yuan ($69.68 billion).

"The signed projects lay a solid foundation for building a modern industrial system with Baiyun characteristics and promoting high-quality economic development. This marks a significant step forward in Baiyun district's efforts toward new urbanization, new industrialization, agricultural modernization, and tourism industrialization," said a Baiyun district official.

In recent years, the district has prioritized industrial development and promoted investment attraction. This year, it has identified "focusing on industry, projects, and investment" as its top economic agenda, proactively engaging in and attracting major projects with great influence.

Baiyun district will uphold its commitment to specialized services for key industries, dedicated services for major projects, integration of significant platform activities with district-level investment promotion, priority support policies for major projects in key industries, and closed-loop management of signed commitments. These efforts aim to ensure that these signed projects quickly begin construction and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy.
