Baiyun district's kite-themed formation made a stunning appearance at the 2025 Guizhou Ethnic Unity Grand Parade on May 18.
Dressed in vibrant blue and white outfits, members carried variously shaped kites and introduced the district's cultural mascots, Xiaoyun and Xiaoshang. Spectators enthusiastically waved, creating a lively atmosphere.

The Baiyun formation showcased a series of diverse dance performances at four key locations: the fountain, Dashizi, the Post and Telecommunications Building, and Zhucheng Square. These performances included the Miao ethnic Lusheng dance, a youth group dance, a kite-themed dance, and a modern group dance. Each performance highlighted Baiyun's rich heritage and diverse kite culture, embodying the youthful energy of the new era.

The parade began with a unity formation featuring 56 children, 56 women, and 56 men, each representing a different ethnic group. A total of 26 formations, comprising nearly 3,600 participants, paraded along Zhonghua Road and Zunyi Road, showcasing a cultural tourism feast.
