A team of experts from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine's Dongfang Hospital and Zunyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine joined forces with Baiyun District People's Hospital to conduct a free clinic on May 23, serving over 200 patients and bringing top-quality medical resources to the community.

At the clinic, specialists from Beijing's top-tier hospital employed traditional Chinese medicine techniques, including the "Four Diagnoses" (looking, listening, questioning, and checking the pulse) and the identification of body constitutions, to tailor treatment plans for the patients.
"Usually, I have to take an 8-hour high-speed train to Beijing and wait in line for an appointment. Now, I can see top experts for free right at my doorstep!" exclaimed Li, a patient who has had interstitial lung disease for over 20 years, after the experts visited his bedside. This "targeted free clinic" model, featuring expert stationing and technology transfer, breaks down geographical barriers, making national-level medical care easily accessible.

Beijing's expert team also conducted "immersive teaching" alongside their consultations. Through bedside guidance and case discussions, they transferred their techniques, enabling local medical staff to quickly grasp standardized procedures in real clinical settings. This "conducting treatment while teaching" approach lays a foundation for further deepened collaboration.
